This site explains how to use all the technology for the Simulation Exercise at Sciences Po, Paris.
🚨 IMPORTANT 🚨
IF ANY TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT WORK AS INTENDED, PLEASE CONTACT JON!
If you think there is some sort of problem, please report it.
There are three main aspects of the technology:
– SciSky (pronounced “See-Sky”) is a kind of Bluesky-Twitter equivalent. You can find the login for that here, and an explanation of how to get started with the technology here – including how to change your Avatar. All players in the game have a username and password for SciSky
– WP is the platform for blogs/websites for players in the game. Login, and the form to make your own site, and the list of sites made already, can be found here. You can find an explanation of how to get started here
– eVoting will be used in later stages of the game, and participation in the vote is done by clicking a link in an email that will be sent to you. Only the secretariats in European Parliament and Council need concern themselves with the administration of this one
– Streaming will be done on Zoom by teaching assistants – please make sure the audience is correct (public/teachers only) for this
– Drive is used for file sharing – direct link to drive here
All technology for the game is used according to Terms of Service – that are adaptions of real terms of service from social media platforms.
